She has to sing for an audience of over 400 and a mike can only really help so much. If you listen to songs like “After You Get What You Want” or some rare footage of her singing live to the troops, Marilyn had an AMAZING voice. She wasn’t all whispery and breathy while she sang. That was her trademark yes but her range was amazing. She was an amazing talent. And more than people seem to think she was.”
